Description:
This workshop teaches the conditioning and skills needed to perfect a handstand mount onto an aerial apparatus, with a primary focus on lyra and other single-bar apparatuses. Build the strength and technique needed for a successful mount through targeted conditioning and hands-on practice.
Participants should have at least one year of experience on their chosen apparatus. You should also be able to hold and walk forward in downward dog and ideally be close to, or able to, kick up into a handstand against a wall.
We’ll begin with a 15-minute warm-up, followed by strength and conditioning exercises and spotted practice mounting the apparatus. Level 2 and up.

Description:
This workshop will cover how to combine choreography and floor-work with tricks and transitions to help in creating a more cohesive aerial piece on a hammock. Each workshop will start with a 15 minute warm up, followed by learning a 2 minute choreography combo to a set song. There will be variations in mounts, tricks, and transitions provided for students at all levels of learning and the opportunity to film the combo at the end of the workshop. It is recommended participants have at least basic mounts and beginners poses mastered on the apparatus or a similar aerial apparatus prior to taking this workshop. (Level 1 and up)
